Welcome Message
Dear esteemed members of the Malaysian Paediatric Association, and all colleagues in the paediatric and child health fraternity.
It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of purpose that I invite all MPA members, Family Medicine Specialists, Public Health personnel, General Practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals to attend the 47th MPA Annual Congress 2026 at Sheraton Petaling Jaya from 29-31 October 2026.
The 2026 Congress theme, “Protect Every Child: Health, Rights and Responsibility” reflects our shared commitment as the protectors of children in Malaysia. Our roles are not only limited to safeguarding the physical health of children, but also to uphold their rights and to embrace our collective responsibility as clinicians, advocates, educators, and leaders. In an era of evolving healthcare challenges, social inequities, and emerging threats to child well-being, our role has never been more critical.
The Congress will provide a dynamic platform for learning, reflection, and collaboration. Through comprehensive scientific sessions, evidence-based focused discussions, and meaningful exchanges with peers and experts, we aim to strengthen our clinical practice, reaffirm our ethical commitments, and empower each other to be more effective advocates for every child in Malaysia and beyond.
